Effective 7 December 2024, The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) will be assessing authority for the Early Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher (ANZSCO 241111) occupation. All applications for skills assessment already submitted with Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) will be completed consistent with AITSL assessment criteria. AITSL will continue to accept applications until midnight of 6 December 2024.
Although very similar assessment criteria for AITSL and ACECQA, there are some differences in the assessment criteria. The assessment criteria include qualification assessment and English language proficiency. There might be additional requirements and details can be found on the respective websites.
